The Public Works Improvement Loan Program was created in December 2018 by City Council Resolution No. 2018-100 to assist private property owners in the construction of improvements and/or to connect to the City’s water and/or wastewater systems. Although the primary focus of the program is to provide a means for property owners to request economic assistance for water and/or wastewater (sewer) connections, the program also allows for the financing of other required improvements such as the construction of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, pavement, and driveways on existing improved properties within the City of Reedley.
The program is open to those with circumstances where financial conditions make it unlikely or prohibitive that property owners can pay for the improvements in full or obtain private financing. The maximum repayment term is five years with an annual interest rate of 7.00%. Applications are available for download at the link below or in person from the Public Works Department located at 1733 9th Street Reedley, CA 93654. For more information you may call (559) 637-4200, Option 2.
